Las Vegas for Otakus and Geeks

Las Vegas is notorious for being the place to party. The motto is "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Partying endlessly may sound appealing to some, others may be left thinking "where is the anime?!" Thankfully there is much else to see in LasVegas, especially if you are a fan of anime or superheroes. You can visit the Chinatown Mall. There is a wide variety of stores. There are many bakeries, cafes with boba, bookstores, markets, and plenty of eateries. There is a store called Great Wall Bookstore that has a great variety of products. There are boxes full of stickers, a table with a wide variety of journals, anime merchandise, Studio Ghibli merchandise, novelty items, purses, and a variety of Chinese books. This is a great location to find affordable anime items and stationary.
Now if you are a fan of comic books, there is a really good comic book store in Las Vegas. It is called Alternate Reality Comics, located in Pioneer Plaza. There is a good variety of new comic books. There are different sales so that you can save some money.
If you are looking for an experience that you can only get in Las Vegas, then you should go check out the new Marvel Avenger interactive experience at Treasure Island. It has the biggest Marvel store in the world and includes the interactive exhibit. There is exclusive merchandise of all kinds. There is also a green screen in which you can take pictures as different Avengers, operate Iron Man's suit and you will be able to use the Iron Man suit in a virtual experience. You are able to see the Avengers operational equipment, such as the Captain America's suit and shield. There is no other expereince like this.

Usually you have to drive a couple hours to get to a great hiking location and you end up having to tread up a mountain. Once you get to the top, your heart hurts and you are sweating bullets. It is fun and you take amazing pictures. Luckily if you are looking to get your heart pumping and also take some amazing pictures without a long drive, there is the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden. There is a fee to enter the Arboretum but it is $9 for adults and $4 for children and there is free parking. The great thing about the Arboretum is that you walk for hours and see so much. It is located in the city of Arcadia, east of Pasadena and it is next to Santa Anita Park. The Arboretum is 127 acres of plants, natural landscapes, wildlife, historical buildings, sitting areas, and plenty o...
