The Broad

The Broad is a free museum located on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. It is a new contemporary art museum that was founded on September 2015.  Its innovative design captivates you. With two floors of art that is constantly changing. While a few fan favorites stay like the Tulips piece, many other pieces of art are moved. The constant changes guarantee that every time you visit there is something new to see.
There are two ways to visit the museum. You can go online to The Broad website and reserve tickets. Tickets do book fast so do not be discouraged, it may take up to a month or two for you to be able to visit the museum. If you do not want to wait too long you can go the day you plan to visit, there is an onsite standby line. Keep in mind admission into the museum from the standby line is first come, first serve. The wait time can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on how busy the museum is. The onsite standby line closes 90 minutes before the museum does, so your best bet for getting into the museum is going an hour before the museum opens and waiting in the standby line.
Parking is a maximum of $22 in the parking garage underneath the museum. You can get your parking ticket validated in the museum and only pay $12 for a maximum of 3 hours on weekdays. There is also alternate parking in the California Parking Garage; which is off of Olive; for $8 with validation from The Broad. Make sure that you obtain the appropriate validation from the California Parking Garage, it is black and white. If you are parked in the museum's parking structure make sure that you validate your ticket, once you are in the parking structure on your way out you cannot receive validation and will have to return to the museum.
There are plenty of places to go eat. There are a few next to The Broad, on the right side. There is an American restaurant called Otium. There is also an Italian restaurant called Vespaio. These are just two restaurants to visit. You could always walk around, since you are in downtown there are plenty of food trucks.

Las Vegas is notorious for being the place to party. The motto is "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Partying endlessly may sound appealing to some, others may be left thinking "where is the anime?!" Thankfully there is much else to see in LasVegas, especially if you are a fan of anime or superheroes. You can visit the Chinatown Mall. There is a wide variety of stores. There are many bakeries, cafes with boba, bookstores, markets, and plenty of eateries. There is a store called Great Wall Bookstore that has a great variety of products. There are boxes full of stickers, a table with a wide variety of journals, anime merchandise, Studio Ghibli merchandise, novelty items, purses, and a variety of Chinese books. This is a great location to find affordable anime items and stationary. Now if you are a fan of comic books, there is a really good comic book store in Las Vegas.
